The Image of Nature (TIoN) was established in Fall of 2024, by Southern California Landscape Architect Glen Sharrar. After 31 + years of practicing for another large scale prominent company in the landscape industry and experiencing numerous ownership and re-branding events, the time has come to utilize all my expertise and apply it to other opportunities in Landscape Architecture.
My Landscape competencies include but are not limited to leading and managing landscape architectural teams, as well as, implementing numerous large-scale developments across the country. Some of the key development areas include master planned communities, hospitality, mixed-use and urban developments, higher education campuses, multifamily residential, parks and recreational facilities throughout my career. One of my strongest attributes is successfully consulting with and working closely alongside clients and all team members to establish clear and attainable objectives, providing a platform for executing traditional and unique projects throughout the nation.
During my tenure, I have successfully fostered numerous long-term relationships with key developers, general contractors, and decision makers in support of their overall development efforts, objectives and budget expectations. My experiences have provided me with numerous opportunities to direct and lead numerous traditional design and enhancement projects, large scale design build, and design assist delivery.
